art mafia
There’s the art mafia/art world
then there’s art
I quote this from a friend that replied to my email the other day..
I’ve also noticed the phrase “industry plant” being used and it makes me think how awful that sounds and to be.
I just want to make just enough money to live a fun and good life and share it with people I love and make art, art that isn’t designed for anyone but myself and of course collaborations, but collaborations that make sense… and I’ll need to define this at some point because the audience reading this won’t completely understand what I’m saying or they’ll have their own idea of what I mean and could be spot on or completely miss the point
It’s 11:23 and I should probably sleep now
The film maker who directed The shape of water seems great.
Like a sailor in a big green boat - lyrics from Geese new album Getting Killed … which a person who I love so much shared with me. The album itself broke my heart a little bit at various points of it. Like a feeling of having a big icecream scoop that fell on the floor but you still got a kiss on your forehead kind of feelings. Overall I agree with him that it’s a great album.

post 17th of October…
someone said they were expecting to read more when they saw this title. That there should be more to this, the art mafia, but just like any mafia, or group who promotes a kind of violence I don’t really want to mention them too much or give them any sort of credit, to give them any sort of publicity which this mafia in particular partly feeds on.
In all honesty I didn’t write much because I wasn’t physically feeling well, but now I am feeling a bit better and I still stand by the amount that I have given to this subject for now :)
